the manufacturing of their product.

vehicles.
 Highlights of those practices
- Toshiba reduce the environmental effect of its products by
minimizing the usage of chemical compounds and hazardous
materials throughout its supply chain in collaboration with suppliers.
- In 2016, Nissan unveiled its new e-POWER powertrain, marking yet
another big step forward in the electrification effort by lowering
lifecycle emissions. The Note e-POWER and Serena e-POWER
have reduced CO2 emissions by 18 percent to 27 percent when

cars are more expensive to purchase, they have far lower operating expenses

IMPACT TO SOCIETY
The widespread adoption of electric vehicles have a tremendous impact
on society, not just in terms of the technology we use for personal mobility, but
also in terms of shifting our economies away from petroleum and reducing
transportation's environmental footprint. Electric automobiles are a viable option
for municipalities seeking to improve air quality and improve the health and
quality of life of their citizens.

How do you see the practices in terms of sustainability?

The above-mentioned business organizations have the same measures of
environmental action whereas they create a plan to reduce the use of harmful chemicals
and substance in manufacturing their product and an e-powered equipment that
eliminated the use of gasoline and more than necessary consumption of energy
sources. As a result, nowadays, issues like climate change, plastic pollution, and food
waste are trending across media channels on a regular basis, increasing consumer
awareness to unprecedented heights. However, it is this same increase in consumer
awareness that presents distinct hurdles for the green industry. Being conscious of
social and environmental concerns entails being conscious of business issues as well.
Hence, companies must be consistent in implementing and doing their moral obligation
to be socially responsible and environmentally aware in order to help balance the
unlimited wants of the consumer over the limited resources that we have.
