 Descriptive Research designs is to Provide a reasonably complete description of what is

taking place at a given time. Allows problems to be formulated for further research
while correlational research helps the checking of the predicted interaction between
and among factors and the making of forecasts. Can be used to test these relationships
in real life activities stated by Open Book Hong Kong (2016)
 Correlational research allows researchers to obtain far more evidence than
experiments. Filipowich(2018) depicts the findings appear to be more important to daily
life. Another drawback of correlational study is that it opens up a great deal of more
research to other researchers. When researchers try to analyze a concept or interaction
for the first time, correlational analysis offers a strong starting point. It helps researchers
to assess the intensity and course of the interaction so that subsequent experiments can
narrow the results and if possible, determine the cause experimentally.
 Sumeraki (2018) said that descriptive research allows researchers to determine the
strength and direction of a relationship so that later studies can narrow the findings
down and, if possible, determine causation experimentally.
 Gaille(2020) "If you pick a correlational research study to analyze factors, none of them
goes through a manipulative process. This is the distinguishing characteristic of this
system. Researchers could study participants in a public setting or a closed area so it
doesn't matter when or how the variables are evaluated."
 Since a correlational study research happens in real-life environments, the data
obtained from this work is often more applicable to daily experiences. You don't need to
continue to extrapolate results from a laboratory environment to one that operates on
the average person's routine as stated by Gaille(2020)
 Gaille (2018) said variables that get studied with correlational research help us to find
the direction and strength of each relationship. It can be an experiential process that
involves direct observation or occur through data insights with an additional review.
