CASE : MAIN MOTOR PUMP MORE NOISE PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR MAIN MOTOR PUMP MORE NOISE PROBLEM :

1 Oil level Low

2 Oil Temperature problem

3 Oil Filter problem

4 Solinoid Valve problem

METHOD OF FINDING THE PROBLEM CAUSES & ACTION RECOMMEND

1.Oil Level Low problem

Hyd.Oil Level low problem

♦ Review the Hyd.Oil level at gauge-

Minimum (Buffer) level Noise problem may occur

Action Recommeneded :
■ Aware to operators about check the oil level method (Main down position)
■ Instruct the Maintenance person for filling the oil in tank to the approirate level
 2. OIL TEMPERATURE PROBLEM

Oil Temperature Problem

♦ Review the Oil Temperature Actual Value,
It should be minimum 50 Deg.Cel., If it is high causes for Pump noise, Due to
changes in Oil viscosity

Action Recommeneded :
■ Ensure the Cooling water circulation (Water flow condition)

■ Ensure the Oil cooler Blockage condition, after open the Cooler Lid.

3. OIL FILTER PROBLEM

Oil Filter problem

♦ Ensure the Oil Filter Chock condition, Incase of Filter block also causes
for pump noise issue

Action Recommeneded :
Remove the Oil from tank, then check the condition of filter, if it is chocked with carbon
particles-Clean with Acetone and assembled
 4. SOLINOID VALVE PROBLEM

Solinoid Valve problem

♦ Solnoid Valve Block Causes for

Pump noise problem.

Action Recommeneded :
Valve remove and blockage clear then assemble after function check

5. BEARING PROBLEM

Bearing Problem

♦ In Hyd.Pump inside -Shaft Bearing failure / damages also causes for

Noise issue

Action Recommeneded :
Pump remove and Inside Shaft bearing condition need to check
 6. COUPLER PROBLEM

Coupler Spider Problem

♦ Coupler Spider damage or Coupler Worn out condition both causes for
Noise Issue

Action Recommeneded :
Inspect the Coupler and Spider Condition, Incase of failure replace it by new one.

7. PUMP PROBLEM

Pump Problem

♦ Pump Failure (Life gone)

Action Recommeneded :
Pump Remove then inside condition check and allow for Service
