Primary characteristics
NAF-SwitchIT provides a fully intelligent, fieldbus driven
interface to pneumatic on/off valves. It increases valve
manageability by means of enhanced control
parameters and intelligent user interface.

SwitchIT can be an integral part of any PROFIBUS-DP

system, in which it provides truly two-way communication
between process control and the valve controller.
Preferably it is used together with the Valve-Net™
(optimal) utilities which includes buscables. T-connectors,
hubs and other accessories. The Valve-Net solution
provides a power supply to the units as an integral part
of the bus cable. PROFIBUS-DP is an open fieldbus
protocol with the most running installations in the
world.
