REFLECTION

Sam Harris, a neuroscientist, modern-day philosopher, and best-selling author, said:

“Human well-being is not a random phenomenon. It depends on many factors –

ranging from genetics and neurobiology to sociology and economics. But clearly,
there are scientific truths to be known about how we can flourish in this world.
Whenever we can have an impact on the well being of others, questions of morality
apply.” Give your reflection on the relationship of scientific and technological
progress and human flourishing based on the statement of Sam Harris.

Based on my own opinion on the statements of Sam Harris, for me, not one or
the other side has the correct questions in intellect. The cleared out centers as well
much on imbalance which, in and of itself, is nothing more than a measurable
estimation that, at best, can caution us to potential boundaries standing within the way
of the destitute being able to climb up the wage stepping stool. And the correct centers
as well much on economic freedom and freedom as a conclusion itself, and not
sufficient on how it could be a implies to empower human flourishing. Increasing
human thriving and coming to our fullest human potential will be accomplished when
we’re able to reach a thorough multidisciplinary agreement on what drives advance,
get it how individuals and countries elude destitution, and what the most boundaries
to social portability comprise of. The synergies among these regions are key to
building a strong, anti-fragile arrangement plan for the 21st century and centuries to
come. Advance and portability consider share comparative challenges but too
potential. Both are keys to fathoming a few of the world’s biggest challenges.
