wagen vehicles imported and distributed by
Volkswagen Group Canada Inc. (“VGCA”, or
“Volkswagen”) for sale in Canada.

If you have a concern or you are not satisfied
with the service that you receive from your deal-
er, we suggest that you discuss it with the Serv-
ice Manager at your dealer. If your concern is not
resolved through your dealer, please call or write

Tires
Tires are not covered by this limited warranty,
but are separately warranted by the tire manu-
facturer. Verify with the tire manufacturer what
is covered under their warranty.
Battery
This limited warranty does not cover:
– Damage or malfunction to engine battery re-
sulting from failure to maintain a proper level
of charge through regular use, or resulting
from improper storage or failure to properly
maintain sufficient battery voltage charge.
– Damage or malfunction to engine battery re-
sulting from outside influence, lack of proper
care or improper use.
– Damage or malfunction to engine battery re-
sulting from overboosting or overcharge.
– Damage or malfunction to engine battery re-
sulting from freezing or excessive heat.
Odometer tampering
These limited warranties do not cover repairs on
a Volkswagen model on which the odometer has
been altered or on which the actual kilometres
cannot readily be determined.
If the speedometer unit is replaced, a “Speedom-
eter Replacement Record” must be filled out by a
Volkswagen dealer.
