THE 20 HOUR WORK WEEK

AND HOW I MADE A GREAT LIVING MY ROOKIE YEAR ONLINE

It all started with my chronic Lyme disease. My life, farm and finances went all to crap.

A friend told me about this video of Geoff Lawton and blew my imagination.
After countless videos of Geoff, I bit the bullet and went “down under” to get my PDC.

I needed the efficiency of Permaculture on my farm, and I needed a career change. I saw the movie, “Permaculture Orchard” and
was impressed (and inspired). I was turned on to Kickstarter when I heard the “Permaculture Orchard folks” on the PV podcast.

A mentor gave me the book “4-hour Work Week” by Tim Ferris.

Inspired by ALL the possibilities, I wanted to test my own product then create it. The idea for “Permaculture Chickens”, the film,
was born. I storylined the problem I was solving and hired a dang good videographer named Ben. Find your own Ben, here.

I launched a Kickstarter on February 3rd, 2015, and raised $35K and was 138% funded!

Wrote this ebook on how I did that, without any influence, or knowing any influencers.

Found this article, discovered the importance of emails, and implemented almost everything. Used a tool called Leadpages.net to
seamlessly collect those emails. I manage, and market to those emails using ActiveCampaign.com.

Read the book, “Authority” by Nathan Berry, and started writing epic blogs, here.
Turned those blogs into the final ebook and the “script” for the film.

Added “content upgrades” to each blog article, and generated up to 1,000 leads a week.

Did the “Social Butterfly tour” where I post the new article on EVERY related FB group/page. Built my list to 4,500.

Filmed the project for eight days in June.

Picked up the book, “Launch” by Jeff Walker at my local library (as a blueprint for the release).

One week away from maxing out ALL my credit cards, I did a $10.5K launch to my list.

The next week, it was $22.5K with the help of affiliates. And, my list grew to 12,000.

Now, I’ve averaged five figures a month in evergreen sales.

Best $2.40 I’ve ever spent, in late fees, at the library.

I’m off of Government assistance. I’m climbing out of debt. I’m FREE!

$28K of profits, my rookie year online!

Not bad for working 20 (very distracted) hours a week. Plus, I’ve created a great product that is making a HUGE (and positive)
difference in the world.
