Candidates are advised to produce OBC (NCL) / SC certificates noted in the remark’s
column against their names. In case they do not submit the required certificate, they will
be considered against notified UR Vacancies under UR category subject to availablity.

2.0 METHOD OF SELECTION:
2.1 Candidates will be evaluated for 50 marks by testing the practical skill of the
candidates in their respective domain.
2.2 Minimum Qualifying Marks in Practical Test for Candidates belonging to UR / EWS
category is 50% and OBC (NCL) / SC Category is 40%.
2.3 Candidates scoring minimum qualifying marks in Practical Test shall only be
considered.
2.4 Selection will be solely based on the marks scored in the practical test.
Date & Time of Practical Test : 04/08/2021 at 09.00 Hrs.
Reporting time of Practical Test : Half an hour before the scheduled time of practical test.
Venue of Practical Test : Training Centre, B-Point, Mine-I, Neyveli.
[Candidates are requested to produce valid ID proof while reporting for practical test. (Issued by any Govt. Authorities)]

3.0 Candidates are informed that the Practical Test may get prolonged to the next day of scheduled
date, if situation so warrants. Hence candidates are advised to come prepared for one more day
of stay at Neyveli and to make their own arrangements for the same.
4.0 Candidates must meet all the eligibility norms notified in the recruitment notification for the
post of SME Operator vide Advertisement No.04/2021. In case any of the candidate(s) is/are
found not meeting any of the notified eligibility norms during the pre-selection document /
certificate verification, they will not be permitted for the Practical Test.
5.0 Attending selection does not confer the candidates any right to claim appointment to the post
applied by them in NLC India Limited.
6.0 Canvassing in any form for selection will be a disqualification.
7.0 All Candidates should bring the following Original Documents with a set of photo copies:-
7.1 Proof for Date of Birth (Birth Certificate (or) SSLC / Matriculation / HSC Mark Sheet).
7.2 Proof for possessing notified Educational Qualifications: -
7.2.1 SSLC / Matriculation / 10th Std. Certificate & Mark sheet. (or)
7.2.2 ITI Certificate & Mark Sheet (s)
7.3 Candidates have to produce documentary proof in support of their experience in operating
Specialized Mining Equipment of Mines / Thermal stations.
7.4 In case of NLCIL former Employees, the copy of appointment Order / Promotion Orders /
Service Certificate etc.
7.5 Community Certificate (in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL / EWS
categories)
7.6 Copy of AADHAR Card.
8.0 Interstate candidates are requested to produce COVID RT-PCR Negative certificate, taken within
72 Hrs. prior to selection date. (i.e, 04/08/2021).
