The district’s Enhanced Basic Education- Learning Continuity Plan (EBE-LCP) for
School Year 2021-2022 is anchored on the 6 key dimensions, namely: Safe Operations,
Focus on Learning, Hiniusang Pag-alagad para sa Edukalidad , Reaching the Most
Marginalized, Well-being and Protections, and Education Financing.
2. Readied schools for the opening of classes through its annual activity,
“Brigada Eskwela”, wherein the schools prioritized strengthening partnership
engagement
a. Conducted Scheduled Pahina for Environmental Clean-up
b. Provided technical assistance on the repair and enhancement of
necessary facilities and classroom set-up
c. Observed health protocols upon entry and exit within the schools and
district premises in school and district-based activities
On the other hand, Southeast Butuan District I’s response to Hiniusang Pag-alagad
para sa EduKALIDAD includes:
participation of teachers on trainings on the use of Learning Management
System (LMS) and DepEd Commons.
Equal opportunities are also given to all teachers and school heads for
professional and personal development for continuous improvement.
Most significantly, the schools in the district facilitated parent/stakeholder’s
assembly, orientation on the curriculum implementation and learning delivery
through Dry-run Simulation Videos, and other means of facilitating learning,
at the comfort of their homes.
Reaching the Most Marginalized has been also in the core of the district as it
continuously adopts learners undergoing difficult circumstances, and learners from the
far-flung areas and those residing at Geographically Isolated Communities (GICs);
Alternative Learning System (ALS); and the Indigenous Peoples’ Learners through
various interventions:
designated schools to set-up BLGU Drop-off/Pick-up Sites in coordination with
the Barangay Officials
strengthened the organization and orientation of community learning
facilitators to gain support on home-based learning through various
approaches such as Home Visitation
initiated wide reach of audience through radio, and social media platforms
conducted advocacy on voluntary local “Bayanihan” activities to sustain
supplies of essential items, school supplies, etc.
Well-being and Protection has been one of the top priorities of the district as it
made sure that
activities addressing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support are being
participated by its teachers, learners, and stakeholders.
As vaccination is greatly encouraged, the district also had an overwhelming
number of vaccinated teaching and non-teaching personnel.
The schools in the district have been also dedicated in adapting with innovations
to cope up with the challenges of the global pandemic, such as:
