PROBLEM STATEMENT

There is a constant highlight by employers every year on how little

and unprepared our graduates on general knowledge questions
during job interviews.

This is due to our graduates’ lack of reading. Suggest one

suggestion on how to motivate youth to read more.

Use eBooks to encourage reluctant
youth to discover the joy of reading
With technology having slowly taken control over people's
lives, the reading habit youth is also fast vanishing into thin
air.

We believe that penetrating digital technology as initiatives

would help increase the number of youth who read books.

Everyone would have at least a smartphone in their hand,

and they can read easily through downloaded e-books

• When comparing Google Play Books vs Kobo vs Amazon
Kindle, we recommend Google Play Books for most young
people.
• Google Play Books offers many options while reading such as
bookmarks, highlights and notes. Making for a good app to
use for academic .pdfs and .epubs.
• Users can use the Google Play Books webpage or app to
upload their own .epubs or PDFs.
CONCLUSION
• With one of these three apps, we now can carry an entire
library and bookstore in the pocket of our jeans
• eBooks have a lot more to offer than their printed
counterparts. Unlike printed books, eBooks allows users to
interact with the content. In a printed book, the maximum a
user can do is mark pages or highlight texts.
• To summarize, by using eBooks we surely will be able to
motivate youth to read and gain more general knowledge.
