The 4th Industrial Revolution

1. Among the speakers and topics in 2020 nursing Conference, I have chosen the lecture of
Ma’am Laarni C. Florencio, MSN, RN, CNL “The 4th Industrial Revolution” due to the fact
that the whole medical community revolves and dependent with the machineries and
technologies that the revolution brought.

3. Guide Questions
a) The relevance of the 4th Industrial Revolution in the medical industry are very
prominent. For years, machineries and advance technologies has been our highway to
success, and we revolve within technologies. The fact that most of the deadliest
diseases known to man are all cannot be treated without the help of machineries. I
believe that we are on the path to perfection and we need to embrace every revolution
because ignorance and not accepting the fact that the economy is growing is like being
illiterate.
b) Bioethics and Health Education are both inclined with the 4th Industrial Revolution, in
light of the fact that the revolution brought power to the society that will help us do a
better and much faster job medically. Thus, I believe that all of the things on earth are
inclined with ethics because we try not to be inhumane and despicable to the people,
especially the clients. However, in terms of bioethics, there are still limitations because
this revolution might caught a dark setback. Many people might lose their jobs because
of replacements of machines, technologies and A.I’s. So we still need to step on the
ground and not let our fellow men suffer.
c) The things that I can contribute in research as a future nurse practitioner are of course
health education and raising awareness in different kinds of diseases and how to
prevent it. Because I believe that prevention is better than curing the patient.
