NIMHANS is conducting walk-in-interview for the following posts on Contract Basis for a
Government of Karnataka funded project entitled “Karnataka Brain Health Initiative (KaBHI)”
under Dr. Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator, and Dr. Girish N,
Professor of Epidemiology, Co-Principal Investigator.

NOTE: For all the posts, the desirable qualification will be (apart from mentioned in the individual
posts)

1. The applicant should be conversant in writing and speaking Kannada language.

2. Also, the project requires travel to different districts of Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities
 Conduct training programmes for all stakeholders
 Conduct awareness programs along with the Program
consultant
 To conduct neurology and teleneurology and tele
mentoring consultations with physicians at General
hospitals and PHCs.
 Coordinate with the project consultants and other
neurologists in the project
 Decision making regarding triaging and referrals for
patients across levels of health care systems
 To conduct and coordinate training of primary care
physicians, conduct screening and awareness
programs and liaise across state health program
officers
 To provide diagnosis and care to patients with
neurological disorders at NIMHANS
 To monitor, supervise and conduct research on
outcome and impact of the program along with
NIMHANS neurology team.
