Last weekend, my parents took me and my siblings to the Royal Abu Bakar
Museum (Name of museum). The museum is one of the oldest buildings
in Johor (Information about the museum). The building was built
in 1866 (When it was built). It was formerly the Grand Palace of the Johor
Sultan and was turned into a museum in 1982 (What it was used for in the past
and when it became a museum).
There are many interesting exhibits (Things) in the museum. However,
there are certain rooms which we could not go into (What you couldn’t do
there). We could only view the exhibits from the outside (What you could do there).
My father said that this is to ensure that the exhibits are kept in the best condition for
generations to come. Some rooms are used to house exhibits like the weapons used
in ancient times (Give examples). We could read all about the exhibits from
the information boards (What you did to get more information).
Out of all the rooms in the museum, the one that left a deep impression on me was
the banquet room which reminded me of the magnificent dining hall in the
Harry Potter movies (What impressed you the most about the museum).
