W elcome to another busy and exciting week of grade 5! This week we have our annual fall
festivals in southern, central, and the northern region. Webmails were sent with details
last week. Unfortunately, Mrs. S will not be able to make it to the festivals this year.

This week is BUSY with assessments. On your math test, please go slow, use the place value
chart as needed, and if you are unsure what a question is asking, ask your learning coach.
Sample Work in Science is not required, and may be submitted blank. However, if you wanted
to revise any of your quick checks, the sample work is the deadline. Please see the update here. Class Website
Lastly, our Social Studies portfolio is due this week. A modification is students may complete
the chart provided here. We also covered this in our live lesson last week you can review here.
When taking an assessment, please take your time, as I will not reset assessments after sub-
mission. As the answers are given to you upon submission, revisions are accepted.
