ALCUPOL® F-4811

Description
ALCUPOL® F-4811 is a trifunctional polyether with an average molecular weight of 3500. This polyol is
recommended for the slabstock flexible foam production, in continuous or discontinuous systems,
covering all the range of load-bearings and densities required by automobile, furniture and general
application industries.

Likewise, it could be used for soft foam production, and also with fillers, that usually would require the use
of special polyols. ALCUPOL® F-4811 can be used pure or in combination with Alcupol polymer polyols;
and indistinctly with TDI 80:20, TDI 65:35 or their mixtures.

ALCUPOL® F-4811 is a BHT-free polyol. It includes alternative antioxidant agents with very low migration,
so this polyol is specially recommended for textile uses because it assures a minimum risk of “gas-fading”
or staining. ALCUPOL® F-4811 also achieves a good anti-scorching foam protection.

Storage recommendations
ALCUPOL® F-4811 is a hygroscopic and, therefore, must be protected against moisture by keeping the
containers sealed.
ALCUPOL® F-4811 should be stored between 10 °C and 35 °C. With temperatures below 10 °C a
considerable viscosity increase is expected, resulting in handling problems. Above 35 °C product
degradation may occur by developing a yellow-brownish colour.
In order to avoid oxidation of the product, storage under Nitrogen is recommended.
Under correct storage conditions, ALCUPOL® F-4811 has a shelf life of one year.
