Greetings from the Taxation Laws Cell, Centre for Business Law and Taxation!

We are delighted to inform you that we are opening a call for applications for the following roles:
1. Content Editors (3)
2. Digital Editors (2)

Role
We are looking for students who will contribute editorial content as well as aid in administrative tasks for the
undertakings of the Taxation Laws Cell. For the role of Content Editor, the tasks include contributing editorial
content, collating and summarizing news updates and managing content development. For the role of Digital
Editor, the tasks include designing and formatting any form of content put out by the Cell and managing social
media presence and growth.

Eligibility
Please note that the vacancy is only in the Taxation Laws Cell of CBLT and an interest in Tax Law is
preferable for both positions. Applicants for the role of Digital Editor with an interest in Tax Law will be
engaged to serve a greater role at the Cell.

1. Content Editor
- An interest and acumen for Tax Laws;
- Basic research skills, such as navigating official government websites and operating SCC,
Manupatra, etc.;
- Ability to write concise notes;
- Availability for at least 8-10 hrs per week;
- Open to all batches.

2. Digital Editor
- Ability to navigate websites and applications for designing posters, drafting letters, etc.
- Strong formatting skills;
- An understanding of Search Engine Optimization;
- Availability for at least 6-8 hrs per week;
- Preference for applicants with interest in Tax Law;
- Open to all batches.

Application
Applicants are required to forward the following documents to cblt@rgnul.ac.in latest by 1st October 2021
(11:59 PM) with the subject line “Application for Taxation Laws Cell: <title of the role>”:

1. Content Editor
a. Updated resume,
b. Statement of Purpose of not more than 150 words highlighting experience/interest in Tax
Law in the body of the email,
c. A summary of any recent development in Tax Law in 150-200 words and another, more
detailed summary in 500 words in the same file in .doc or .docx format.
2. Digital Editor
a. Updated resume,
b. Statement of Purpose of not more than 150 words highlighting interest in Tax Law (if any)
in the body of the email,
c. A mock poster for an event in .PDF or .GIF (if it consists of moving elements) format.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview.

Please note that the openings are subject to the applicants meeting the eligibility for the role, failing which the
Taxation Laws Cell, CBLT reserves the right to not fill all vacancies.
