Bring me tests students’ speed and accuracy in solving addition by counting value money. This will be
done in groups of five and it will be in a competition among groups. The first group who will first get five
points will be the winner.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Play money

ACTIVITY PROCEDURES (write here important instructions, the stages of the activity, mechanics, etc.)

Instructions:

Let the students grouped into 5. Let them bring out their own baon (money) but make sure that the
money is properly accounted. Let the group stays in circle.

Mechanics:

When the teacher says “bring me 200 pesos”, one representative per group will come to the teacher to
present the correct amount of the money. The first group to bring what is asked until 5 wins will earn a
point.
