preparation of this project report. I’m also indebted to each and every person responsible for

3. INDUSTRY/COMPANY PROFILE

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is an


American multinational technology corporation headquartered in Armonk, New York,
with operations in over 171 countries. The company began in 1911, founded
in Endicott, New York by trust businessman Charles Ranlett Flint, as the Computing-
Tabulating-Recording Company (CTR) and was renamed "International Business
Machines in 1924. IBM is incorporated in New York.
IBM produces and sells computer hardware, middleware and software, and
provides hosting and consulting services in areas ranging from mainframe
computers to nanotechnology. IBM is also a major research organization, holding the
record for most annual U.S. patents generated by a business (as of 2020) for 28
consecutive years.
BM has a large and diverse portfolio of products and services. As of 2016, these
offerings fall into the categories of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, commerce,
data and analytics, Internet of things (IoT), IT infrastructure, mobile, digital
workplace[95] and cybersecurity.
IBM Cloud includes infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS)
and platform as a service (PaaS) offered through public, private and hybrid cloud
delivery models

4. ABSTRACT/OVERVIEW OF PROJECT.

This project had the basic goal to provide us the skills for the job
interview like how to make a resume, how to dress ourselves up for
any interview , communication skills, what are the best way of having
communication with the employess and with the people of higher
positions in the company . We also learnt about the best way of making
presentation for the meetings etc. At last we learnt about the going
trend of video resume which is now a days asked by the companies for
the interview.

5. Introduction of Project Internship

. This project had the basic goal to provide us the skills for the job

interview like how to make a resume, how to dress ourselves up for


any interview , communication skills, what are the best way of having
communication with the employess and with the people of higher
positions in the company . We also learnt about the best way of making
presentation for the meetings etc. At last we learnt about the going
trend of video resume which is now a days asked by the companies for
the interview.

6. Details of task/s assigned

The main task provided us was to complete spme courses available on the
ibmskillsbulid.com and upload them on the google drive made by our
mentor moreover we were also provided the tasks to read English books
,newspaper articles to improve and enhance our vocabulary. At last we
were given the task of making our video resume keeping in mind about
the proper lights, dress code etc. and the video should be of minimum 2
minutes.

7.Details of Technical learning during delivery of task

The technical learning delivered during the task was about the basics of
HTML5 how and where can we learn it from and what are it’s uses.

8. Conclusion or Outcome of Internship

The internship camp ended on a good note as we learnt basic details of


how to get ready with our job readiness skills within this 2 weeks journey
we learnt much about the details of communication skills.
9.Future scope of work

In future we can get summer internship in IBM as what our mentor told
us in 2022 provided we qualify the test and this communication skill can
help us always whatever stream where ever we work in future.
