09/28/2021

On 09/21/2021, approximately 10:50 PM, our unformed patrol officers were dispatched to a
domestic at 221 E. Main St. in the city. As the officers exited their patrol vehicle, they heard a
single gunshot coming from the front of the residence. The officers found a 32-year-old
unconscious female with a head injury on the front porch. She was treated at the scene by
Watertown Fire Department firefighters and Guilfoyle Ambulance personnel. She was
transported to Samaritan Medical Center and later flown by helicopter to Upstate University
Hospital in Syracuse.

On 09/23/2021, the female, identified as Kimberly A. Nolan of 221 E. Main St. Watertown, NY,
passed away at Upstate University Hospital. On 09/25/2021, an autopsy was conducted by the
Onondaga Medical Examiner’s Office. Ms. Nolan’s death has been ruled a suicide.
