1. Lecture and report have been allotted 10% of your final grade, and class
participation with 5% only.
a.3. Lecture and report set parameters to gauge the group or one’s performance:
i. Individual grading system for answering questions during the open forum:
• Answer correctly, direct to the point, and expound it with sense.
• Deliver thoughts more in English language.
• Intervention made to answer questions that the co-member could not
answer appropriately.
ii. For the group grade which depends on the quality of:
• Prepared/presented video lecture (if needed), ppt and game.
• Managing the time.
- Please ensure that within the given allotted time for the open
forum, all the group members have imparted their respective
parts. Otherwise, the one who left behind for not participating
during the discussion proper will get an individual grade of 70%
or the chance to join the presentation of the succeeding group for
recovery purposes. So please avoid it to happen.
- As such, there is a need to divide your time among the number
of topics as assigned to every lecturer so that all of them may
have the opportunity to perform their respective parts.
a.4. All students of this class are compelled to become part of this lecture or
reporting activity. Failure to do so shall construe to mean obtaining an
incomplete grade at the end of the semester.
b. Class participation
b.1. Set indicators for grading system:
i. Raised relevant questions only.
ii. Also properly shared personal stand on topics being tackled for a given
moment.
iii. Participate and win or topnotch on given Q/A game that was prepared by
the assigned lecturers.
b.2. Please be reminded that failure to ask questions about complicated topics
that need further understanding shall be at your own risk, as this will require
you extra effort to study them on your own thus cope up with the
assessment proceeding, we may possibly cover in the succeeding
meetings.
3. Also, to inform you that coverage of topics to tackle per synchronous meeting will
depend as much as possible on the stipulated set schedule in our course syllabus.
