NATURE’S OF TEACHING

based upon the specialization on a certain field, teaching skills, didactics and some certain personal
characteristics that the profession requires.

Body:

As a teacher, you have to be self-conscious. You have to take care of yourself and be presentable in
front of your students. Student’s impression towards you will always reflect on how you handle yourself
in front of them. Also, as a tacher, you have to be mindful of your actions because teachers must
conscious present themselves as a good role model both in and out of the classroom.

PPT: As a teacher, you have to meet the student’s needs, experiences and feelings, and intervening so
that they learn particular things and may think beyond the box.

Conclusion:

Teaching is a process of educating a person with theoretical concepts and is a kind of a knowledge
transfer between a teacher and a student. The role of the teacher is to act as a facilitator of learning by
leading discussions, providing opportunities to ask open-ended questions, guiding the processes and
tasks and enabling the active participation of learners and to engage with ideas.

PPT: As a teacher, you need to instill positive attitude towards schooling and expected to have a mastery
of the curriculum.

One of the qualities you need to become an effective teacher is that you have to be competent,
knowledgeable and skillful because in teaching, you should give your students’ a correct information
about the topic because how will you become an effective teacher if you mislead your students with a
wrong information? It might affect their learning process. Also, investing yourself in your students
creates a positive atmosphere in the classroom that can enhance your relationship with students and
makes them feel important. We should be also encouraging the students to do better and propagate
them the importance of education since we, serve as their second parents.
