Lighting Information:
The café has lots of fairy lights which appeared
to be the main source of light in there.
Sound Information:
In this location there’s the risk of getting
potential loud noise from the kitchen as the
staff make food for customers, as well as
chatter from people in the background.
Power Information
There are power outlets inside the café, we’d
just have to make sure to ask permission from
the owner to use them.
Hazards
There may be customers and their children
walking round the café, as well as tripping
hazards such as tables chairs.
Solutions:
In order for the mise-en-scene to maintain the
“romantic” tone of the scene, I would set up
three-point lighting, However I would keep
them fairly orange-toned and dim in order to
give the scene a more warm and intimate feel.

I’d use a boom mic to hold above the actors, so
that the background noise could be quieter and
therefore the audience’s focus would stay on
the actors.

is the least busy, when most people are at work
or school, and would move any tripping hazards
to one side while filming.
