Personality Test Response

For my personality test the four letters that I got were Debater ENTP, only three percent of the
population happen to Debater ENTP’s, so I find it interesting for this to describe my personality.
Within my four letters the words that describe me are extraverted, intuitive, thinking and
prospecting. Some traits and skills connected to my personality type are that debater ENTP’s
tend to be bold and creative, deconstructing and rebuilding ideas with great mental agility and
pursuing their goals vigorously despite any resistance they might encounter. Some strengths
also include being knowledgeable, quick thinkers, original, excellent brainstormers, charismatic
and energetic. I feel these positive characteristics could be extremely beneficial in the career
path I am choosing to go into, which is finance and business. Obviously, I don’t know exactly
what I want to do, but a job such as financial analyst is something I am interested in doing in the
future. However, some weaknesses related to my personality type include being argumentative,
insensitive, intolerant, finding it hard to focus and dislike practical matters. These weaknesses
could potentially negatively affect me in a workplace setting so it is a personal goal for me to try
actively improving these weaknesses. These weaknesses are also extremely apparent in my
everyday life now, I have realized that I don’t mind confrontation and “debating” with people
which could possibly come off as argumentative if I don’t communicate my thoughts in a
controlled matter. Another one of my weaknesses that I feel accurately described my
personality was being insensitive. I have realized that to friends or people at school I make it a
point to be really understanding and be more sensible but when it comes to the people I'm the
closest to, like my immediate family and siblings, I end up being insensitive. I find this weird and
ironic, but it is now something I have been trying to work on ever since I realized this. Something
else that really resonated with me that was written in the explanation of my personality was my
need for independence. I feel like I struggle with this as I have strict parents and I personally
hate being told what to do, which you can imaging creates conflict that I don’t mind engaging in
but overall, this need to have personal autonomy over my life is extremely strong and was one
of my personal values as well.
