INTRODUCTON

Last year, as well as this year, a lot happened. The rising number of COVID-19 cases, as
well as the ongoing earthquakes induced by taal volcano, are two concerns that we are still dealing
with today. We always think about staying in our homes in today's day when the virus is common,
and with the threat posed by the volcano, we cannot help but be concerned about our homes and
family. As a result, many people prefer to stay and work only in their home. According to study of
Younghwan Song (2020), the positive aspects of working from home include freedom of work
schedule, more time for and with family and increased leisure time, lower stress and improved
efficiency, and cost and time savings on commuting to work.Working at home is a good way to avoid
COVID-19, but other than that we can’t avoid the looming danger posed by the volcano and the
earthquakes it causes. We must ensure that our family are protected in today's world; aside from the
ubiquitous covid, we cannot avoid concerns such as disaster.

Building a house with a sturdy foundation is one of the things we should undertake. The
foundation is the structure that supports and bears the weight of your house. It's only a matter of
time before you incur major structural damage if you don't have a sturdy foundation underneath you.
The foundation is also one of the aspects of your home that should be done correctly the first time
because it's not always straightforward to fix if something goes wrong during construction. To put it
mildly, it's always worth the time and work to make sure the foundation is done correctly and
according to industry standards.

In addition to a stable home it is also nice to have a well -organized place where even at work from
home can still continue, and have time for family even in the midst of a pandemic. According to Todd
Thatcher (2020), spending time with family significantly reduces the occurrence of depression,
anxiety and other mental illness. Children who are spending time with their family have shown less
risk of behavioral issues, such as violence and substance abuse. Being with family also provides an
outlet for pent-up emotions that could otherwise lead to unhealthy decisions.

This research focuses on the design of building durable, stable, and beautiful homes that can help
with having a place to work, averting the dangers we face, and having time for family during a
pandemic.
