Definition :

 Interview is an interaction in which the teacher parents a student with planned

sequance of questions, listens to response, ask futher questions, and record data.
 It is an opportunit for the teacher to probe the studens’ understanding of a topic in
ways that cannot be used effectively with other forms of assesment.
Purpose of Interview :

 To provide the teacher with insight about students' understanding in order to refine and
target learning.
 In looking for in-depth information on a particular topic.

 Create a friendly and open environment.

 Wait to establish rapport, before asking sensitive questions.
 Pay close attention to your own language, maintain appropriate levels of eye contact.
 Questions should be clear and directly related to the topic.
 Keep eye on the time.
 Always thank the interviewee ( the students) at the end of the interviews.
