many species of flora and fauna stand a risk of extinction such as foxes and

tigers.
Global warming comes to my mind.
However, I think the two problems are linked: my understanding is that global
warming will lead to species loss anyway; if global warming causes species loss,
it makes sense that global warming is the bigger problems.
-important to protect species – we share the world – moral obligation.
- also loss of species affects humans (e.g. affects food chain, loss of fish in seas
means less food for us).
;;;
-anger that global warming will escalate and lead to runaway warming
-ultimately this will lead to species loss anyway

Some people argue that paramount problem for the environment is the extinction
of particular kinds of flora and fauna, while others say that there are more
pressing problems such as global warming, air pollution, plastic pollution. In my
point of view, the disappearance of species is not the foremost problem we
should deal with.
To begin with, the loss of species certainly is the major concern. This problem
can lead to less biodiversity of ecology and upsetting the balance in nature. The
elimination of any species is pernament due to the fact that they can not be bring
back into life with the orginiral form. It is a great disadvantage for the future
generation not to appriciate the wonders of a diverse natural world. Moreover, a
certain species is endangered, which may let other species case to exist. All
species are interdependent so a missing place in food chain can lead to the
starvation of predators. Besides, it can affect us detrimentally too. Some rare
plants is a worthy resource for herbal remedies. Therefore, the destruction of
forest such as deforestattion can have negative effects on production process of
medicinal drug. Another consequence is the shortage of food in the future.
Last but not least, there is a far wider problem that needs to be forefront of
public’s attention: global warming. As the result of emissions green houses
gases like CO2 and methane, the heat of the earth, especially in the mordern
urban, is rising. This will lead to a number of problems, including flooding, ice
melting, deforestation, climate change and drought, but also the extinction of
species. The environment pollution can causes human diseases such as cancer or
respiratory disease.
In conclusion, even though the protection of species is vital for biodiversity and
bio balance, there are issues which can cause species’ extinction, like global
warning or pollution. These issues are more essential.
