W hat’s in this unit?
In this unit Ss will explore the topics of people, family
members, parts of the body, appearance, the time, free
time and daily routines. They will learn the possessive
case, who’s/whose, the present simple, adverbs of
frequency and like/love/hate + -ing. They will learn to write
an email about Messi, an article about a charity in their
country and an informal email describing their best friend.

Argentina or the Argentine Republic is the second
largest country in South America and the Latin
American region. It borders Chile to the west and
south, Bolivia and Paraguay to the north and Brazil
and Uruguay to the northeast. Its capital city is
Buenos Aires and it has a population of about 41
million people. Its official language is Spanish.
