a. This is a matter of ethics because contractualization violates the right of the laborers to have the
benefits or privileges of a full-time employee. Contractualization or Endo contractualization is a
practice of hiring workers for a short time before terminating them. People may be hired for 6
months or less. Agents hire workers for a cheap labor just to increase their profit. This is actually
impossible for them to become a regular employee. I think it is wrong for the laborers to work
hard 8 hours a day just to be a temporary employee and not to have privileges as a full time
employee.

b. My own ethical judgement for contractualization is to research more about the

contractualization in the Philippines. I will gather data, evidences, facts, laws that may indicate
that contractualization is ethically wrong. To make my own ethical judgement I will also identify
parties involved in this issue which maybe the government, the agency and the employees
affected.
