The Different of Reading Method

Literal Reading: Literal Reading is try to understand what the text tells about. In this
method students can students can employ literal comprehension skills (keywords,
skim reading, and scanning). As the result student can get main ideas, general and
specific information from the texts. Concluding the meaning of words, phrases, and
sentences, based on the context. Retell and summarize reading text.

Active reading is where readers apply strategies to get more involved in their reading
so that they can do a better job reading. So they get reading efficiently, increasing
reading rate, understanding more what they read by applying certain strategies.

Analytical reading is reading involved your critical thinking, your logic, your
knowledge, and problem solving. So the students can build background knowledge,
build critical thinking skills.
