JOKER

Meaning
The Joker takes the theme of a crime drama, the journey that makes Arthur Fleck fall and become the
Joker. Throughout the film, the author pushes Arthur Fleck into difficult situations and makes all
viewers feel sympathy for that character, the character that the whole society has rejected and
abandoned. Those expensive details of the film make viewers understand that good and evil
absolutely do not exist. The source of evil can be created by seemingly innocuous actions, whether
simple jokes, betrayal, or alienation. However, as director Todd Philips said, the film does not
promote the use and love of violence by the audience. It sends a deeper message: find a way to live,
treat those around you in a better way.
