Software related clarification Meeting with GFGC Karkala

On 24.05.2021 Monday SQAC organised a google meeting to discuss the progress of pilot study of NAAC related Software
implementation with GFGC Karkala. SQAC team members, Mangalore region Special officers and GFGC Karkala Principal and IQAC
Coordinator were present in the meeting. Nodal officer- SQAC has explained the intention behind this meeting and implementation of software.
Principal, GFGC Karkala has appreciated the efforts of DCE, Software people and the faculty members in the implementation of the process.
IQAC coordinator of GFGC Karkala has given detailed experience during the daa capture to the system and along with their doubts and queries.
SQAC team has clarified some of the doubts and expect the Rsense to give more clarifications to college and SQAC on the below points.

01 AQAR and SSR Informations : Clarified from SQAC:

Need of writing description for QLM metrics on yearly 1. Decided to add points rather than paragraphs. Which helps the colleges to
basis as it is required only during the submission of SSR write descriptions during SSR submission.
2. QLM data is also required on a yearly basis for the submission of AQAR.

Rsense to clarify more on this query.

02 Difficult to identified in Programme code Clarified: .

1. Programme codes will be available on Result sheets/Admission Cards.
2. If not available, colleges can enter their own unique Programme codes.
03 Librarian and Physical Educator should be added as Clarified:
faculty or facilitator or include as Department 1. Not to show Library Science and Physical Education as separate
departments.
2. Librarian and Physical Education Directors Can be shown in Faculty list
Resense: Disable the selection of Department , while updating the faculty
details for Librarian and Physical Education Director.

04 Student awards (5.3.1) Need to change/modify in the software:

Software template is asking for students to register 1 Disable the register number of the students
numbers.

05 Geo tagged Photos Clarified:

1. If photos are taken with Geotagged, Principal Seal and sign on printed
photos will be accepted.

06 Student feedback Clarified: Year Wise student feedback should be collected from all stakeholder
and maintain all required documents as for the NAAC manual

07 SSS Clarified:
1. NAAC will conduct SSS during the AQAR as well as SSR
2. College need to provide student database

08 Templates download of data from software Need to change/modify:

Getting a message as data may be corrupted then it 1. Presence to look into this
opens as an excel file.

09 Display of Criteria, KIs and Metric names Need to change/modify:

1. Rsense to add feature, when cursor moves to Metric, KI, criteria
numbers, The related text has to appear and disappear once cursor moves
out of it.
10 Filling of data of faculty details with PhD, and Research Need to change/modify:
guides and Scholars 1. Resense to clarify on this
(It is observed that, same faculty has been counted twice
as there two scholars allotted under him)

11 Average experience of faculty members Clarified

12 Displaying the number of Faculty members Need to change/modify:

(Software is displaying less number of faculty members 1. Resense to clarify on this
in 2017-18)
