I left the house with an umbrella

in my bag because the weather forecast had predicted damp weather, with
lightings and thunders and chilly temperatures, and sure enough, as soon as I got outside I felt drizzle on my
hand. I put up my umbrella and hurried along, but there was strong wind that blew it inside out. As I struggled to
fix the umbrella the drizzle started to turn into a heavy rain. I ran under a nearby bus stop to take shelter and then
it started pouring. My umbrella was broken so I threw it in a nearby bin and just sat and saw that some of the
houses started to flood. After about two hours, it stopped, the sun came out and we again had clear skies, so I
carried on walking, but after about a minute it started raining again, but this time small balls of frozen rain
started falling down. It was hale, so I had to go in a shop. Fortunately, it was nothing, it was just a
quick shower and when I went back outside it was mild with a warm breeze. However, this was just autumn,
and winter was coming in just a month, with meteorologist’s predicting changeable weather, thick fog, icy
roads, strong winds, and freezing temperatures, which sometimes may go below zero. Luckily for us, we don’t
live in other parts of the world, like the USA, where the weather is settled in spring, but in summer they have a
lot of hurricanes, or in South East Asia, where they have monsoon season, and it rains there constantly for 4
months.
