2. Aim of the Procedure:

Guidance Notes:
Students should state the overall aim of the process.
A scale and polish  is a very common dental treatment which is carried out as a form of oral
preventative medicine. In other words, it is designed to form part of a dental hygiene plan
with the aim of keeping your teeth clean and healthy.

Patients go home with other attitude, more conscious about the risks,  paying attention on
sugar levels, and time spent brushing their teeth every day.

any action they would take to address weaknesses in the future, if required.

Tutor Feedback to Student:

Good work Carolina , you have worked hard to produce a good clear pers in this area - in
most ways it's fine and I would complete this pers - you have not put patient type so I have to
send it back

a) Patient type at the top should be selected

b) Please write an aim for your weakness noted in reflective account

**In general speed is not something I like to see as a weakness or an aim - it can make us
forget things, drop things and also cut corners -  I would like you to become more efficient
and successful
