Circular for Parents (Class XI & XII)

Dear Parents,
This is to inform you that as per CBSE examination pattern for classes XI and XII (session 2021-
22), students will be assessed out of a maximum of 100 marks for each subject (maximum marks
500).
Mention below is the examination policy and weightage of marks. You are requested to go through
the policy for better clarity.
*Class XI*
1. Periodic Test-1 (40 marks) (July-August)
2. Half yearly exam (Theory: 70/80 marks) (September)
3. Periodic Test-2 (40 marks) (Nov-Dec.)
4. Annual exam (Theory:70/80 marks) (Feb-March)
*Class XII *
1. Mid-term exam (40 marks) (May-June)
2. Half yearly exam (Theory: 70/80 marks) (September)
3. Pre Board-1(Theory: 70/80 marks) (December)
4. Pre Board-2(Theory: 70/80 marks) (January)
# PRACTICAL component will be considered as per CBSE guidelines.

optimum learning and help them identify their weak areas so that they could be strengthened
subsequently.
