The engine will enter auto mode if one of the conditions occur:
If the engine is in auto mode and no shutdowns are active, then continuous activation of the
remote initiate input will cause the engine to start and to run.
Note: The engine will start only after a programmed "Start Aid Activation delay and Crank Alert"
interval.
If the remote initiate signal is removed, then the engine will cool down and then stop. If the
generator set control is not in auto mode, "GEN CONTROL NOT IN AUTO WARNING" will be
displayed on the EMCP 4. The message is meant to inform the operator about the status of the
control.
Note: The event can be disabled via the "Generator Control Not in Automatic Warning Event
Response Configuration" set point.
The code is generated when the genset control is not in "AUTO" mode.

Expected Result:
The generator was place into a mode other than auto by the operator, an input programmed for
"Run" or "Stop", or a specific Modbus RS-485 SCADA data link message.
Results:
• OK - STOP
