AUTOPILOT SERVO MOUNT SLIP CLUTCH (SMT-65) - ADJUSTMENT/TEST
1. Autopilot Servo Mount Slip Clutch (SMT-65) A. Test NOTE: Every 12,000 flight hours (or at maintenance interval nearest to 12,000 hours) the operation of the servo mount should be checked on the airplane by performing the servo mount slip clutch test. (1) Perform the BATTERY POWER DISCONNECT procedure (Ref. 24-30-01, 201). (2) Gain access to the servo by opening the respective panels. NOTE: When performing the procedure in Step (3), refer to Table 501 for the value desired for the applicable servo. (3) Perform the SERVO MOUNT CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE (Ref. Rockwell Collins, Inc. APS-65 Autopilot and FGS Flight Guidance System Installation Manual (523-0771862) for SVO-3000 and SMT-65). (4) Close all panels that were opened to gain access to the servos.
