Chapter 1

Andy told Marie that they needed to go to the hotel, because his mom told them that they HAVE
to go back to the hotel at 8 o'clock, but Marie wanted to see into the house. Andy was scared
because she could get them into trouble. Andy pulled Maria into the house because he saw
someone.

A boat was tied up outside the house, and two men were getting off the boat. The first man was
short but very big. He had a neck like a bull, fingers like large bananas, and almost no hair. He
looked strong. The other man was taller but not so wide. He had long hair tied back behind his
head. He looked strong too. The tall man went into the house next door. The men were speaking
strange English, because the pronunciacion was different from Marie and Andy. Jake and Os (the
men) WERE carrying something, Marie and Andy WENT BACK to the hotel.

Chapter 2

Marry and Andy walked into their hotel room and no one was there. Their mom arrived late to the
hotel, she was talking with Peter, who invited them to eat.
The next morning Marry, Andy and Ellen saw in the news that robbers escaped with a painting of
the museum. Marry and Andy are going to tell their mom about the two suspicious gentlemen in
the abandoned house.

Chapter 3

Ellen Lawson wasn't hungry when her children told her about the paint, she believed the guys and
called Peter´ s secretary for advice that she would be late to work . She and her children go with
the police. Inspector Kompier asked about the robbers, the paint and the abandoned house,
Andy and Mary told her where the house was, but they didn’t know the address so they showed
her where the house was. Inspector Kompier and more officers go to the house, the officers come
back with an old man, he has the keys to the house. The old man gave them the keys and the
officers went to check the house but didn’t find anything. Inspector Kompier didn’t believe Andy
and Mary. Ellen went to work.

Chapter 4
At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, when Ellen Lawson was at work, Andy and Mary entered the empty
house and they found a keyhole in the back of the bookcase. The bookcase has a secret door
and inside of it was a painting. They listened to noises and voices and the robbers found the
teenagers.
Chapter 5
Jake and Os captured Marry and Andy in a little room. Andy made a plan for escape. The robbers
left the keys in the keyhole and Andy pushed it with a little pencil. Marry and Andy escape from
the house.

Chapter 6
Marry and Andy went to the police station, they talked with the officer and he didn't let see
Inspector Kompier. When Inspector Kompier showed up, she didn’t believe them. Inspector
Kompier gave her number to the teenangers because she’s so busy. They wrote the story on a
sheet of paper and they left it and went outside.
