Sector Analysis - June’21 – Increased & New Positions
Fund flows into equities continued during June 21 albeit at a slower pace compared to May 2021; while profit booking remained high given indices were trading
closer to all time high. SBI Cards and HDFC Life within BFSI space saw increased interest from funds, along with key other names including Indus Towers, Havells
India and JSW Steel. Fresh positions were initiated by the top 3 domestic funds in the recently listed IPOs such as Sona BLW Precision, Dodla Dairy and KIMS.

Performance Analysis – By Market Capitalization – June’21
Fresh positions in recently concluded IPOs and focused select stock buying strategy in mid-caps were undertaken by funds during June 2021. Key IPO stocks (also
present in mid-cap segment) were new positions were taken include Sona BLW Precision, Shyam Metallics & Energy, and KIMS; whereas some of the other mid-
caps which saw higher buying interest include Indian Bank, Manappuram Finance, Escorts, Shriram Transport Finance and Amar Raja Batteries.
