Mining Engineer

Qualification & Experience

▪ Bachelor of Mining Engineering.

▪ Minimum 7 of years of working experiences, preferred on chromite mines.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Develop & execute mining strategy of the company/assigned locations to meet the expected demand &
schedules
▪ Implement the applicable policies and procedures to ensure adherence to mining standards
▪ Develop proper mining plans and to re-evaluate geological, mining aspects and reserve for mines.
▪ Conduct feasibility studies, due diligences and technical plans in line with JORC or equivalent Code
Principles.
▪ Project management and budgets preparation.
▪ Ensure effective management of the mining business operations of chromium crushing, blasting
operations, production & logistics operations.
▪ Prepare the yearly production targets and operational plan for mining operation.
▪ Ensuring proper communication and team work between mining, production, exploration and maintenance
team.
▪ Responsible for the development and implementation of production strategies for the mineral production
and processing operations of the assigned locations.
▪ Prepare production targets for the various product offerings
▪ Prepare and execute effective management of mineral processing activities and related operations.
▪ Develop plan to ensure that production, recovery and cost objectives are met while respecting
environmental, health and safety (EHS) rules.
▪ Ensure proper communication and team work of the production department with all mine services,
including mining operations, mining engineering and exploration.
▪ Project execution and stake holder management with local communities in the assigned areas.
▪ Responsible for the mining technical activities including the use of mining software in the daily activities
of mine, including but not limited to the validation of drilling database updates, resources estimation and
general modeling
▪ Assume other appropriate responsibilities as are assigned to the incumbent by the Production Manager.
