Campus, December 2019 to April 2020. Evaluation of Calcium-Rich Fertilizer as

Source of Nutrient on the Growth and Yield Performance of Purple Corn.

This study was conducted to evaluate the calcium-rich fertilizer as source

of nutrient on the growth and yield performance of purple corn. Calcium

increased nitrogen efficiency, increased potassium and phosphorus absorption

and it contributes to increased deposit of starch for heavier grain test weights.

The experiment was conducted at Cagayan State University (CSU) Piat Campus

Integrated Farm December 2019 to April 2020. Four treatment with four

replications were arranged in Randomize Complete Block Design (RCBD). The

treatments were used; T1-inorganic fertilizer plus organic fertilizer, T 2-inorganic

fertilizer plus organic fertilizer plus calcium fertilizer, T 3-inorganic fertilizer plus

calcium fertilizer, and T4-organic fertilizer plus calcium fertilizer.
