Word 2016 – Smart Art Graphics


Instructions:
 Watch the Word 2016 instructional video on the class website.
 Next, and using this worksheet, review the information about Smart Art
Graphics using the Word 2016 – Smart Art Graphics Video Summary that
you will find beneath the movie on the website. Right click on the
Download Button and choose Open in New Window.
 Now, fill in the blanks on this document (pencil or pen) while studying the
video summary. This is now a Notes Page.
 Next, make a numbered list, 1-20, of the fill in the blank answers on this
worksheet.
 You will need a three part linear heading in a Header and the title will be the
same as this document.
 Use Times New Roman-12pt for the text and Arial-18pt, Bold and Italic for
the Title.
 When you have completed the worksheet and the numbered list of answers
… turn BOTH of these documents in to your instructor. You will, of course,
need to print out your numbered list in order to turn it in.
 Finally, do the additional Challenge Handout – A Smart Art Graphics
Project. Handouts are available in the classroom.
 You will receive three grades for this unit: Note Worksheet; Numbered list

7 You can also add text by clicking the desired shape and then typing. For more
complex Smart Art graphics, working in the text pane is often __________________.
8 It's easy to add new shapes, change their order, and even delete shapes from your
Smart Art graphic. You can do all of this in the text pane, and it's a lot like creating an
outline with a ____________________.
9 To demote a shape, select the desired bullet, then press the _______________. The
bullet will move to the right, and the shape will move down one level.
10 To promote a shape, select the desired bullet, then press the Backspace key or
__________________. The bullet will move to the left, and the shape will move up
one level.
