1 Context and Goals


Describe the project context:
With the speed of industrialization and modernization in recent years, information
technology has been developing in all aspects, becoming the driving force of development.
The application scope of information technology has been expanded and contributed to
many fields such as communication, automation, management of human and social
activities... Applying information technology in The management will help reduce human
labor, save time with high accuracy, compactness and convenience to reduce storage
space, avoid data loss, systematize and specific information according to each need.
Through this, in order to help companies easily manage facilities and equipment, in order
to save as much time as possible and still bring about high efficiency, our team decided to
build Building a management system for facilities and equipment for the company.
The project broader goals:
 Manage facilities and equipment easily
 Save time and money
 Limit errors in the management of equipment and materials
 Bring convenience to users

2 Statement of Work/Goals
 Job Description: Building a facility and equipment management system for the
company to effectively support the management of facilities and equipment easily.
This saves the company time and money.

3         Technical Solution Overview


Implementation technology:

Web design languages (Front-end): HTML5, CSS3, JS, Bootstrap4

Server side language (Back-end): HyperText Preprocessor (PHP) language and Laravel Framework

Database management system: MySQL

Build Model: Model-View-Controller (MVC)

The system will be designed according to the MVC model for easy management, repair and maintenance.

To make the system easily accessible to users, artificial intelligence will be integrated into the system to
classify and control equipment and facilities. Thereby improving the quality of the system, making the
management, monitoring and planning of repair and maintenance of equipment easier than ever. Improve
the efficiency of synthesizing, searching and searching for technical and material facilities from company to
unit.

The system will have the following main components: The system administration page manages all records,
equipment life cycle, technical facilities in the company, including:

Equipment procurement plan management page

Warranty, maintenance and repair management page

Equipment transfer management page

Equipment rental/borrowing information management page

Warehouse management page

Page to manage reports and statistics

In terms of security, today's best encryption algorithms will be used to avoid revealing the company's
management information. Some encryption algorithms such as: Data encryption standard, TripleDES, ...In
addition, we regularly check and evaluate website security, protect website data, and build a reasonable
account authorization function.

4         Similar Solutions


 Today, the demand for machinery, facilities, and equipment for management is increasing day by
day. The company's equipment management takes a lot of time in accessing, searching, making
statistics, managing maintenance, repairing machinery and equipment... Realizing the above
difficulties, website management equipment was born with the aim of improving the management
of equipment and materials at the company more closely, quickly and saving time.

The company's equipment management was previously still heavily manual:

-The storage of equipment information as well as other information in the management of the
system is carried out manually by books and documents with a large number, thus causing many
difficulties for the work. management, it takes a lot of time and effort for management staff with
complicated inspection, lookup and inventory tasks.

- When storing information by this method, if there is a mistake, it will be difficult to modify. For
example, if you want to edit information in the device profile, you must cross it and then correct it
next to it, it will be very bad if you have to. modified many times

-The statistics of equipment sales are also complicated.

From the downside mentioned above, building a management software is very necessary for a
company

-The software has a suitable interface, convenient and fast to use for users.

  - Capable of importing and exporting data for each device input and output with printouts of import
and export slips

  -Can handle the correction of data if there are errors in the input process

-When users want to see information, they can view it with an information search program to help
look up information easily.

-It is possible to tell the statistical situation of the list of existing, exhausted, and remaining
equipment and materials through the statistics of monthly, quarterly and yearly input and output
slips.

WORK TIME DESCRIPTION


Survey 9 days - Find out, meet the company. Survey on the management of
facilities, find out what types of equipment need to be managed,
and how the current management of the company, what needs to be
added.

Analysis 1 week - Synthesize the requirements of investors, make a detailed table of


project implementation work, unify construction solutions and
divide the work load in the team.
- Based on the requirements to build Usecase and make an
implementation plan
Design 16 days - Review the overall model for the overall model then build the
look and feel of the product. Besides, a department will design the
user database and some advanced functions for the product
Testing 2 weeks - Test the built product, if any errors are detected, they will
promptly fix and re-run the product. Finally, give an overview
report to survey the results of customers
Demo 8 days - Carrying out testing products for customers to test
- In the test, if the customer has any additional requirements, they
need to complete the request and upgrade the product, update the
report.
Transfer 1 week - After completing the product, proceed to write a preliminary
report on the product, hand it over to the customer and proceed to
receive money and signature of completion of the work from the
customer.

6         Viability and Constraints


- Viability:

 What needs to be done is to list and check the number of equipment before bringing it
into the company, then arrange and divide the places and work groups when the quantity is
clearly understood. then check that the excess equipment will be sorted into the
warehouse. 
 Ensure that the company can find and know the missing or redundant equipment as
soon and as possible. 
 The system needs to maintain stability under all circumstances. Statistical analysis
and good calculation of the number of devices.

- Constraints:

 The system cannot automatically update the number of items in stock, but it needs
someone to directly check periodically.
 It is easy to have errors in the system if the facilities are degraded but not notified in
time.
