Results of the Admission Test held on 18th July 2021 for the
JRF in Biological Science Programme
On the basis of performance in the selection test held on 18th July 2021, the following
candidates have been selected for interview at Indian Statistical Institute, for final selection for
the admission to JRF in Biological Science (Agricultural and Ecological Research)
programme, 2021-22. The interviews will be conducted as detailed in the 2 Pages below :

General Instructions:
(a) Travel Support: All outstation candidates belonging to economically backward, SC/ST
and PwD categories will be provided travel support for attending interview through reim-
bursement of two-way sleeper/second class railway fare and/or bus fare between their home

station and the place of interview by the shortest route, on submission of the original or
photocopy (as applicable) of their railway and/or bus tickets.
Eligibility for travel support of candidates from economically backward classes will be de-
termined by the possession of BPL card. For the other categories, eligibility will be subject
to verification of the relevant certificates at the time of interview. For reimbursement of
travel expenses, which will be made via bank transfer, the candidate must provide, at the
time of interview, particulars of his/her bank account, including Account name and number,
Bank name, branch, address and IFSC.
(c) Any candidate unable to travel for an offline interview may write to the e-mail address
admissionsupport@isical.ac.in, with “JRF in Biological Sciences Interview” in the subject
line of the e-mail, requesting to be interviewed online.
(d) Candidates must present their valid photo-id proof [Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter
Id, Passport, PAN, E-Aadhaar printout] during the interview.
Short-listing Rule: The selection of candidates for the interview is based on the following
