In the business realm, there are companies that share their information to one

another for better and healthier competition. Even if they share information to one
another, they are still competitors. But it depends of what information they share and
how would they use the information. If you put yourself in the shoe 9f a company owner,
you will not give confidential information to your competitors. Because if you do so, they
may use it against you, or you will both can make a way to manipulate the market. Let’s
say the two company in the same industry in your community shared their pricing range,
and with it can be positive and also negative. Positive in a way that their prices are at
the same level. But the negative effect is that they can at some point manipulate the
price and make it higher for their own benefit. They share information to one another but
still they are competitors.
