With these, we came up with an idea of creating an

online grocery website and application. Through this,
Good afternoon everyone. We are here to present our we hope to deliver to the customers their goods while
online grocery named “OL MART” Sa OL Mart mapapa- limiting the possible interaction with other people.

Through our online grocery, we aim to deliver the needs

of the customers in a way that would be convenient and
safe for them.
My name is Janmarx Simbajon. Together with me are
Brian Orillo, Ruhley Quino, and Ella Layson

This is the glimpse of the OLMart, On the left side is the

website of the OLMart, and on the right site is the app
for the mobile.
Ever since the quarantines were imposed to minimize
the impact of Covid-19, a lot of us were unable to do
groceries. Especially because of the new schedules and
curfews ordered by the government. Our access to our
daily necessities has, become limited.
In ordering a product, a search bar can be used to look
the product we want. As you type, a suggestions will
appear below the search bar.
After we pick a product, we will be directed to where
there’s an option for adding it to our cart or buying it
now, furthermore a description about the product is
shown.
Now, let say that we want to order a chicken. We just
need to click the buy now, after clicking it, we will be
directed to an info page to fill up some necessary
information.
After filling up, we move on to the shipping page, We fill
up the information about where,when and how we
would like the product to be shipped.
And lastly, we can choose our payment methods
(whether credit card, g-cash, paymaya, visa, pay pal, on
hand and etc.,) After all these things are settled, we just
complete the order, and we are done.
To give you an idea of the target market that we are
planning to focus on, please observe the table on the
screen. Davao City’s 2020 population is around
1,825,45. With this, we estimated the total eligible
population around 500,000. After this estimation, we
came up with a SOM of 292.5M per year.
Moving on, the brands presented here offers the same
services with ours. Among these three, Small Basket
was said to be the best, however, areas of improvement
were still observable, such as, unstable and active
phone application, expensive minimum amount of
purchase, expensive shipping fee, and its promotion.
Moving on, we have here our profit and loss statement
for the first 5 years. On the 1st year of service, we are
planning to start with just the website version. The
application version will then be released in the 2nd
year. While the 3rd, 4th, and 5th year will be focused
more on expanding our business outside Davao City.

With all of these said, we are planning to differentiate

our company from the others by improving the areas
that we think are lacking to them.

Displayed in this slide is the graphical presentation of

the net income of the company for its first 5 years of
service.

Now, we have our business model. To sum all of these

up, we are planning to build relationship with our
customers by providing a more convenient and safer
option for them in buying food with the help of our key
partners displayed here. Other means of gaining profit
and, the possible areas that would cost money for the
company are also listed here.
Now, for the funding, an amount of around12.1M is
needed to kickstart the business and officially launch its
website version. This is estimated to cover the 1st year
of OL Mart. Moving on, around 14.1M is needed to
develop the application in the second year while an
estimated amount of around 50.95M is needed for the
planned expansion of the company outside Davao City
on its 3rd, 4th, and 5th year.

An investment of at least 10M will be a big help to us in

establishing the business while we will also be hiring
some application and website developers to help us
materialize our idea of online grocery.
