Again the Philippines was hit by landslide.

Leyte Island where guinsaugon is located.

The affected areas lies in a valley,adjacent to a mountain.

Friday’s landslide,triggered by two weeks of abnormally heavy rain.

While rain was stopped during certain times of the day ,

The landside are continues to experience frequent heavy downpours.

The landslide which struck without warning ,virtually wiped out the village.

Mudslides destroyed the mountain village of guinsaugon.

During school time between 9am to 10 am,

An elementary school was completely buried.

Nine square kilometers where the village once stood.

Up to 1,860+ in worst affected Guinsaigon village.

Survivors say they felt the ground shake(Heard a roar just before the mudslide hit).

More than 1,000 are missing and believed dead.

They’re actually three barangay covered in soil.

About 2,000 to 3,000 people died.

And 400 homes covered in soil due to Landslide.
