[AREA OF APPLICATIONS Typical applications areas are: © Concrete surfaces © Metal surfaces | ADVANTAGES OVER CONVENTIONAL EPOXY COATING * Better adhesion and flexibility * Chemical resistance * Improved performance over manually prepared concrete surfaces. | APPLICATION METHODOLOGY SURFACE PREPARATION: Conerete - Mechanical grinding or other suitable surface preparation is recommended for obtaining best results on conerete. Compressed air is used to remove residual dust or use brush to remove dust completely. Compressed air should be oil free. Apply only to dry surfaces. Old concrete should be sound and any oil, grease etc should be removed by suitable degreaser or by burning. Any laitance should be removed prior to application of Shali penetration primer Steel_- Steel surface, which are to receive Shali penetration primer should be prepared by sandblasting or power tool or mechanical cleaning to a commercial Grey metal finish, If moisture or other contaminants contaminate prepared surface, they should be reblasted. COATING: | Shali penetration primer can be applied by brush, conventional or airless spray. x TECHNICAL DATA SYSTEM - Single component POT LIFE - 4-Shrs at 30°C SURFACE DRY = 30-45 min at 30°C RECOATING TIME = Minimum 10-12 hrs and maximum 24 brs SHELF LIFE - 6 months when stored in well sealed container (Keep away from direct sunlight) COVERAGE, - 8-10 square meter/Ltr depending upon the surface conditionPACKING Shali penetration primer is available in 20 Ltr packaging, CLEAN UP - Tools are washable with Xylene.
