Grantham Scholarships Fund
The objective of the Fund is to promote and encourage local education, and in
particular to provide for persons residing in Hong Kong of scholarships and
maintenance grants in primary schools, secondary schools, prevocational schools,
technical schools and institutions of higher education in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme
Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES) was launched in 2014 to
support outstanding local students to pursue studies at world renowned universities
outside Hong Kong.
Eligibility
(a) Have right of abode or right of land, or have entered Hong Kong on One-way
Permits; and
(b) Have resided in Hong Kong continuously for three complete years immediately prior
to the commencement of the academic programme outside Hong Kong

Jardine Foundation Scholarship
The Jardine Foundation offers qualified students from Asia full scholarships to study
at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. The goal is to develop future leaders who will
give back to the communities where the Group operates. Scholarships are available
for courses at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, with strong preference being given
to undergraduate courses at the following Colleges:
University of Cambridge – Downing, Magdalene, Peterhouse, Trinity
University of Oxford – Exeter, Oriel, The Queen’s, Trinity

Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarships
The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarships for Overseas Studies aim at financing
outstanding students for overseas undergraduate studies. They are expected to
contribute significantly to the development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative
Region (Hong Kong) after graduation.
Eligibility
(a) be permanent residents of Hong Kong;
(b) have received at least five years of continuous full-time education in Hong Kong;
(c) fulfill all application procedures and admission requirements at the institution of
their choices and be offered places subsequently; and
(d) be proficient in English and Chinese, and have a good mastery of the language in
which their studies will be undertaken

Tsuen Wan Rural Committee’s Scholarship
The scholarship is granted to students at HCY to stretch the academic potentials and
broaden their horizons by offering them financial support for educational programmes
Eligibility
(a) F.1-F.6 students who are ranked from 1 st to 10th according to the annual
results.
(b) F.6 students who have attained a level 5** in any subject. M1 and M2 will
also be treated as a separate subject.
傑出校友
校友林慧儀成為 Laidlaw Scholar 研究國際法與跨國婚姻
2019 年度中六畢業生林慧儀榮獲 The Laidlaw Research and Leadership
Programme 取錄，成為 Laidlaw Scholar，於大學第 一年及第二年，每年獲 3300 英鎊
津貼，從事十九世紀國際法與跨 國婚姻的研究。林慧儀於 2019 年榮獲「第五屆
香港卓越獎學金計 劃獎學金」，獲資助遠赴英國，於全球知名的倫敦大學學院修
讀歷 史文學士學位課程。
《明報》專訪參與拍攝黑洞的校友陳志均 (2019.4.14)
亞利桑那大學天文學家陳志均先生是拍攝黑洞的「事件視界望遠
鏡(Event Horizon Telescope，EHT)」國際合作計劃軟件及數據小組的
召集人，他在科學上的成就，令本校師生異常鼓舞。他憶述在何中時，
曾參加聯校科展，雖然未有獲獎，但當年負責這項活動的梁彭老師，
看見陳志均對科學滿腔熱誠，十分支持他走科學這條路，得知他要到
美國升學時，更叫他努力，說將來會有成果。
校友陳浩源先生榮獲 2019「十大傑出青年」殊榮
校友陳浩源先生（2002 年畢業）於「十大傑出青年選舉」2019 榮獲「十大傑出青
年」殊榮。陳浩源先生現時在輪椅羽毛球單打項目世界排名第二， 歷年來為香港
奪得 60 面國際獎牌，並曾到訪近 100 間中小學， 分享多年來奮鬥的心路歴程，為社
會發放正能量，獲選「十大 傑出青年」實至名歸。 陳浩源校友是香港輪椅羽毛
球頭號球手，2019 年 8 月在世錦賽摘銀後，9 月下旬連
續在泰國及中國兩站國際賽 WH2 級男 子單打決賽，
以不失一局的姿態勇挫韓國宿敵，贏得兩個金牌。
校友史勝義榮獲「創新科技獎學金計劃 2018」獎學
金
2014‐15 年度於本校畢業，在香港浸會大學攻讀計算機科學系的校友史勝義，榮獲
「創新 科技獎學金計劃 2018」頒發 15 萬元獎學金，到 英國愛丁堡大學交流，了
解機器學習（machine learning）技術，希望將來可透過人工智能的學習 系統，利用電
腦演算法分析已確診癌症病人的醫 學圖象，盡早為其他病人識別出隱藏的癌病。
「創新科技獎學金計劃 2018」由由創新科技署、 香港上海匯豐銀行有限公司及
香港青年協會攜手設立，頒發獎學金予傑出本地大學本科生，資助他們到 海外或
內地交流及本地實習。
