This course is designed to immerse students in understanding the creation and operation of a

family business including the dynamics of the family within a business enterprise.
DESCRIPTIO
This will include topics on relationships and communication issues in the family intertwined with

the management of the family business.
UNIVERSITY VISION
The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), created by a National Charter (RA 4196, 1965), was envisioned to

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship should be able to;
Conduct self-assessment to determine level of entrepreneurial competencies.
Analyze/scan the environment to determine business opportunities and develop their profitability profile
from which entrepreneurial ventures can be selected from.
Prepare a business plan
Apply the necessary human, financial, logistical and technical resources to implement the business plan.
Prepare and comply with requirements for business operations.
Operate and manage the enterprise observing the good governance and social responsibility.
Apply entrepreneurial management in any organization other than own enterprise.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship program must attain:
a. Demonstrate corporate/social responsibility.
b. Perform basic function of management (planning, organizing, staffing, directing, leading and controlling).
c. Apply information and communication technology skills as required by business environment.
d. Work effectively with stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace.
e. Select proper decision tools to critically, analytically and creatively solve problems and drive results.
f. Analyze/scan the environment to determine business opportunities and develop their profitability profile
from which entrepreneurial ventures can be selected from.
g. Prepare a business plan.
h. Operate and manage the enterprise observing the good governance and social responsibility.

CLASS POLICY 1. No make-up examination except for a very rational reason with the presentation
of medical certification signed by attending physician and parent consent.
2. Missed oral presentation will be ZERO regardless of the reason.
3.Tardiness during presentation and oral examination of student will have
corresponding deductions on the grade of the concerned student.
4. Cellular phones should be placed in silent mode during the conduct of the class.
5. Late submission of requirement will not be accepted regardless of the reason.
