EXT: STREET MARKET IN JAPAN – DUSK

Camera following protagonist, CHRIS, through crowded market, unpleasant atmosphere with
lots of shouting and pushing, blue city lighting. “Perfect” woman walks through crowd and
the crowd parts as she does to give a clear view of her. Camera locks to her and tracks her as
she walks past the staring CHRIS, and when the camera has turned all the way it reveals a
beautiful sunset.

INT: FAIRLY MESSY APARTMENT BEDROOM – MORNING

CHRIS wakes up suddenly and looks around, confused, and gets out of bed.

CHRIS walks into his living room, hair still wet from shower and with fresh clothes on. He
picks up his phone and calls a friend. The phone rings for a few seconds.

FRIEND
YO. What’s going on?

CHRIS
Not much. You know when we were out yesterday?

FRIEND
Yeah

CHRIS
I swear to God, after you left I saw the perfect girl.
